PROJECT RESULTS DISSEMINATION AND PUBLICITY

Center for Science Education and Training - CSET at the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics - INFLPR has promoted the project "inquiry-based science education for elementary and middle school teachers - Discover!" and it made known the financial assistance obtained from the European funds.

CSET and INFLPR, as beneficiaries of the financial assistance through the Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development, guarantee the appropriate visibility of the project, its transparency and promotion, its objectives and results at all the events and activities they organized or participated to, as well as through all the products obtained as results of the project implementation.

The project has been presented at the following events and educational activities:

  1. The Symposium "Let's play in a scientific way - from didactic play to scientific research" at Happy Kids Kindergarten in Ramnicu Valcea, April 25-26, 2009
  2. The Science Fair on the occasion of the International Day of Earth, the third edition, was organized at "Ion Barbu" High School in Bucharest, April 25, 2009 . Dr. Adelina Sporea prezented the project and its objectives.
  3. The Symposium "Let's talk about the univers" at "Inochentie Micu Clain" National College, Blaj on the occasion of the International Year of Astronomy, May 8-10, 2009.
  4. The Symposium "School Today " at Grupul Scolar Electronica Industriala, Bucharest, May 16, 2009. Dr. Adelina Sporea prezented the project and its objectives.
  5. The Symposium "Extra curricular teaching methods for science and technology" - the third edition, activity in the frame of the European Year of the Creativity and Innovation, at the School no.1 "Nicolae Simonide" in Pitesti, 16 May 2009
  6. "New milestones for inquiry-based science education in primary school in Europe", The Pollen Project European Conference, 29 May 2009 , Berlin - Germany
  7. The Symposium "The school - the starting point for the knowledge-based soociety" at the "Tudor Vladimirescu" High School in Bucharest, 30 May 2009
  8. The projectul "Discover!" has been prezented at the training course for science teaching in elementary school organized at Mioveni, Arges County, 9-11 June 2009
  9. The Congress of the Elementary School Teachers, 27-30 August 2009, Bucharest
  10. The proiectul "Discover!" has been prezented at the opening of the courses delivered in Sibiu in co-operation with foreign experts, activity organized at Inspectoratul Scolar Judetean Sibiu. Dr. Dan Sporea, the project manager, has prezented the project "Discover!", its objectives and results.
  11. Dr. Dan Sporea, the project manager, participated at the Seminar of the French Schools Principals from the South-Eastern European (Bosnia and Hertegovina, Bulgaria, Cipru, Croatia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey) at the invitation of Mr. Thierry Houyel, Inspector for Europe of South-East of the French Ministry of Education, 7 October 2009. Dr. Sporea has prezented the project "Discover!", its objectives and results .
  12. Dr. Dan Sporea, the project manager, has been invited by the Romanian Academical Society, in partenership with Academia de Advocacy and Siveco Romania SA to express his point of view concerning the science teaching methods for the pre university level. Dr. Sporea participated to the public debate called "Formation of competences - a necessity for the society of the XXI century", 28 October 2009 www.educatie.audieripublice.ro

  14. The Festival of Science anad Technology, the third edition, organized at the Elementary School "Aurel Vlaicu" in Arad, 6 November 2009
  15. The Seminar "Improving the Dialog with Society on Scientific Issues", 13 November 2009, organized by the Scientific Council for Scientific Research in France and the National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering in Bucharest.
  16. Participation to the Symposium "Quality and training through experiment" at Grupul Scolar Transporturi Auto Focsani, 28 noiembrie 2009. In the symposium opening Dr. Dan Sporea talked about the project its objectives and the obtained results .
